In this passage Paul urges us to put off the old sinful ways like immorality, greed, anger and lying, and to put on the new self. We should clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and love. Let the love of God rule our hearts. Do everything in the name of our Lord Jesus with thanksgiving.
