This week, we explore the Third Commandment in Exodus 20:7 (NIV):
“You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God…”
This commandment goes far deeper than words alone. God’s name represents His character, His authority, and His presence. It is not something to be used casually or spoken without thought. God’s name carries meaning. It carries purpose. It carries power.
Above all, His name is holy.
