Haggai 2:1–9 – Jedi Temple Edition (May the 4th Be With You!)
The people of Israel were feeling a bit like a ragtag Rebel crew—trying to rebuild the Temple but discouraged that it didn’t look as epic as the old one (think Death Star vs. Ewok village). But the Lord tells them: “Fear not. I am with you."
He promises to shake up the galaxies (literally), bring treasure from the nations, and fill the new Temple with a glory more powerful than a lightsaber on full blast. His Spirit is with them, and peace will come to this place.
