The journey continues from the miraculous provision of manna straight into a crisis of confidence. In Exodus 17, we see the Israelites arrive at Rephidim, desperately in need of water.
Despite seeing God's faithfulness week after week, their thirst leads them to challenge Moses and, ultimately, test God's presence, Demanding: "Is the Lord among us or not?"
This week we explore the confrontation at Massah and Meribah where the Israelites are testing God and quarrelling. Lets examine God's patient response, bringing life from a rock, and reflect on the dangers of letting doubt overshadow the clear evidence of God's active presence in our wilderness moments.
