Betrayed and Tried: Jesus Faces the Darkness | Matthew 26:47–68

Jesus is betrayed by a friend, abandoned by His followers, and falsely accused in a rigged trial. In Matthew 26:47–68, the Son of God faces the full weight of injustice with courage and silence. Judas leads the mob, Peter lashes out in fear, and the religious leaders plot to destroy the very one sent to save them. Yet Jesus remains faithful to the mission.

This powerful moment reminds us: Jesus knows what it means to be betrayed, misunderstood, and alone. And still, He loves us.
