Mark 3 presents radically different responses to Jesus: some follow him, others oppose him, and even his own family initially misunderstand him—yet Jesus reveals himself as the stronger King who defeats Satan, rescues captives, and welcomes those who respond to his call into a new family. Ultimately, the passage challenges each of us not merely to decide what we think about Jesus, but to respond to his call to come to him, trust him, and follow him.
