BLESS - Horst & Petra

At Hope City, we are challenging everyone to take a step toward sharing the hope they have in Jesus. "Share Your Story" is a key part of Hope City's vision to be a church that engages everyone in multiplying followers of Jesus. It’s also the final step in our BLESS acronym:

• B – Begin with prayer 
• L – Listen with care
• E – Eat with them
• S – Serve with love
• S – Share your story

The B in BLESS is for Begin with Prayer. In their video, Horst and Petra talk about the power of prayer and a time they prayed for a neighbour.  Many of us find it hard to talk to our friends or family about our faith but praying for them is one thing we can all do very easily.  We love our friends and family and we want them to know the same amazing truth that we do - that Jesus Christ died for them.  Pray for your colleagues, family, friends or the stranger at the bus stop, that they will come to know Jesus.  God hears and answers our prayers.
