Join us at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe as we showcase some of Scotland’s outstanding musical talent.  Across 3 evenings (25th-27th August) we’ll be offering an eclectic mix of genres.

25th August

Kitti + support from Hope City House Band

Glaswegian singer/songwriter with soaring vocals and unique lyrics. Winner of Best Vocalist @ Scottish Jazz Awards 2020 and winner for Best Breakthrough Artist @ Scottish Music Awards. Kitti makes jazz infused RnB/soul music. For fans of Amy Winehouse/Jorja Smith/Alicia Keys.  

Supported by the Hope City House-Band – a special collaboration of artists from across Scotland including Mario Caribe, Ifedade Thomas, Dave Series, Jon Green, Miroslaw Hodun and Ellyn Oliver.

Jon Green Quintet + support from Ben MacDonald Trio

Contemporary jazz from the Boston-born trumpet player and composer.  An amazing band featuring many of Scotland’s leading jazz musicians including Tom Bancroft, Mario Caribe, Graeme Stephen and Martin Kershaw. It’ll be a blast. 

The Ben MacDonald Trio featuring the Glasgow based guitarist joined by upright bassist Brodie Jarvie and drummer Stephen Henderson. “Their music combines both airy melodies and more urgent, urban grooves fuelled by Ben MacDonald’s superbly fluent guitar playing” – The Herald.

Amy Papiransky + Ellyn Oliver + Unoma Okudo

Ellyn Oliver – Following the release of her debut EP in 2019, Ellyn won Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Open Stage in 2020. For fans of Norah Jones/Adele/Eva Cassidy.

 

Amy Papiranksy – BBC Young Musician of the year finalist – a classically trained and talented multi-instrumentalist with folk roots, Amy has toured extensively worldwide and supported KT Tunstall.

Unoma Okudo Nigerian-born Glasgow-based jazz/soul infused singer-songwriter. A unique voice, with captivating melodies and lyrics.
